This event is hosted by the Atlanta Hypersomnia Support Group and is open to anyone with hypersomnia, narcolepsy, KLS, and all those who love them.

Social Security Disability and Hypersomnia Video

We were able to video our special guest speaker, Attorney Anjel Burgess, from Burgess & Christensen Law firm. Attorney Burgess spoke to our support group about Social Security Disability and then answered support group member questions.  Be sure to check out the the video below.  We are so excited to be able to share this important information with our Atlanta Hypersomnia Support Group members.

Attorney Burgess boasts impressive academic credentials and has developed a wealth of knowledge in the area of disability law.  She received her B.A. from North Carolina State University, an M.A. from the University of South Florida and, in 2008 her J.D. from Georgia State University.  Prior to joining Burgess & Christensen, Attorney Burgess practiced civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance defense. Known for her excellence in representation, for the past five years Attorney Burgess has exclusively practiced Social Security Disability Law for adults and children as well as the ancillary areas of Guardianships and Special Needs Trusts. She brings to the Social Security Disability practice her compassion, quest for justice, enthusiasm and desire to help others. Our next hypersomnia support group meeting will take place on Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm, at Emory Sleep Center, located at 12 Executive Park, NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30329. Our meetings will always be held in Building 12, on the 4th floor.  We hope you can join us!
